Functional medicine tests can often provide a clearer picture of what may be going on in the body and help to target therapy more effectively. Foreshore Nutrition offers a wide range of tests with something to suit everyone and all tests are performed in conjunction with the very best of the functional medicine laboratories. They are specifically chosen for their high quality testing procedures, excellent customer service and practitioner support.

Access to functional medicine testing is available for all clients as part of any consultation package. Testing is always discussed in full and only recommended when felt it may be useful for both the client and practitioner.

If you wish to perform a test prior to, or without a consultation package, a verbal interpretation from the practitioner will still be required. This is extremely important so that you fully understand the results and how they relate to you. For further information please feel free to get in touch to discuss your needs.
This is a small selection of tests which are used regularly in the Gut Wellness Clinic. All test kits are delivered directly to your door, are easy to perform in the comfort of your own home and then simply posted back to the laboratory.

SIBO Lactulose Breath Test
3 hour breath sample
Measures exhaled hydrogen and methane gases to evaluate small intestinal bacterial overgrowth. This is a common condition causing similar symptoms to IBS. Testing indicates whether SIBO is present and which type, in order to facilitate the correct treatment plan. Left untreated, SIBO can lead to digestive and gastrointestinal complications.
